Daniel H. Craighead, PhD
My research interests involve testing novel forms of exercise for improving cardiovascular health. I’m also interested in researching how we can improve physical fitness and sports performance. I completed my PhD in Kinesiology with Drs. Larry Kenney and Lacy Alexander at the Pennsylvania State University, and did my postdoctoral training in Integrative Physiology with Dr. Douglas Seals at the University of Colorado Boulder. I spent four additional years at the University of Colorado Boulder as an Assistant Research Professor before joining the faculty of the School of Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota in August of 2024.
